We'll ask questions, listen carefully, and give you an honest assessment of whether custom software is the right solution. If it is, we'll quote a flat fee for Discovery. If it isn't, we'll tell you that too. No cost, no obligation.
Discovery (Paid, $1,000 – $4,000)
This is where the real work begins. We visit your business, observe how things actually operate, document workflows and pain points, and identify where we can add the most value. The deliverable is a groomed product backlog in our project management system (Focus-PPM): a prioritized list of user stories* with story-point estimates*. You'll see exactly what needs to be built and roughly what it will cost. You get access to Focus-PPM to review and prioritize the backlog anytime.
* User Story: Describes a discrete interaction with the system from a user's point of view
* Story-Point Estimates: A common approach to estimate development difficulty
Sprint Delivery (Ongoing, $200/story point)
You select user stories from the backlog for each two-week sprint. You know exactly what the sprint will cost before it starts. Our development team builds and tests each story and then deploys to a staging environment where you can review the work on your own schedule. Accept stories that meet your requirements, reject those that don't. Accepted work is released to production and then invoiced. Rejected stories return to the backlog to be refined so we can try again.
No Lock-In, No Minimums
There are no contracts locking you in. No minimum number of points or sprints. You can adjust scope, skip a sprint, or stop development at any time. Quality earns the next sprint. You decide when the project is done. You own the code.
